About the IBZ Aachen

The RWTH Aachen offers accommodation to its guests in the three guest houses (Haus Königshügel, Terrassenhaus and the Europagästehaus) which are located next to each other, close to the main university buildings and the historical center of Aachen. Guests of the RWTH Aachen have the possibility to spend a comfortable and pleasant stay in Aachen.

The guest houses are located in a quiet area, but very close to the center and therefore it is a perfect place for your stay in Aachen. The city center and the central Campus are within walking distance.

The Königshügel house offers 4 double rooms and 3 single rooms, the Europagästehaus offers 18 single apartments, 6 double apartments and 6 hotel rooms, the Terrassenhaus offers 10 family apartments.

Terms of lease

The apartments can be rented up to one year and offer you and your family the possibility to move to Aachen rapidly and to get to know the city.

Event rooms

The Gästehaus Königshügel offers event rooms for your academical social activities.

The fireplace room and the parquet room can be rented for € 100.00 per hour and € 700.00 per day respectively.

The club room rent is € 40.00 per hour or € 280.00 per day.
