About the Alexander-von-Humboldt House Muenster
The Alexander-von-Humboldt Haus was completed in 1984. Due to its nested but open design, all apartments have their own separate entrance. All apartments are simply and functionally furnished. A total of ten one-room apartments (22-25 m2), seven two-room apartments (41-50 m2), four four-room apartments (61-69 m2) and one six-room apartment (82 m2), some with a balcony or terrace, are available to guests. The two-room apartments are predominantly maisonettes.
In the Alexander-von-Humboldt Haus, cozy common rooms (reading room, computer room, bar, terrace, etc.) have been created for the guests of the AvH and the Europa Haus. These can also be reserved by the tenants for smaller events or the reception of guests by arrangement.
The Europa Haus was built in 1999. All apartments have a separate entrance. The apartments are bright, modern and fully furnished. Guests can choose from 19 furnished one-bedroom apartments (29-30 m2) and nine two-bedroom apartments (58 m2) with balconies. All two-room apartments in the Europa Haus are maisonettes and have two small balconies. The one-room apartments also have a small balcony.
Two of these one-room apartments are equipped for the disabled and can also be accessed by wheelchair via a ramp. The common rooms (such as the reading room, computer room, bar or terrace) of the Alexander-von-Humboldt House are also open to guests of the Europahaus.
