The IBZ guest house in Potsdam has been under renovation since fall 2018. The apartments can therefore currently not be booked for an indefinite period.

About the IBZ Potsdam

The IBZ Potsdam is located in the center of Potsdam, on the Fachhochschule Potsdam campus. It is well connected via public transport to the three university campuses and other research institutions. Shops are within walking distance.

The IBZ Potsdam was opened in 1999, and offers apartments for international visiting scholars and their families from six months to two years. There are 16 fully equipped 1-4 bedroom apartments available. The IBZ guest house also has a communal seminar room, reading room, kitchen, as well as a garden with a large playground. These rooms were created so that guests can have opportunities for pleasant neighbourly get togethers.

The IBZ enjoys a close relationship with the Welcome Center of the University of Potsdam and offers a wide range of diverse cultural programs for guests. The IBZ also has an administrative support person to help with German bureaucratic requirements.
