Guest House of the University of Wuppertal

The Guest House of the University of Wuppertal (BUW) is placed in the former officer’s mess of the General-Oberst-Höppner-Casern which was elaborately reconstructed in 1986. It is situated on the Campus Freudenberg in a quiet green area, not far from the main campus of the University of Wuppertal, and with an excellent connection to motorways A 46 and A 1.

The apartments are fully furnished and provide opportunity for self-catering. An on-site cafeteria also offers a number of local dishes from Monday to Friday. The main campus Grifflenberg is within 15 minutes walking distance. During the term a shuttle-bus service connects the three locations of the University of Wuppertal (Campus Freudenberg, Haspel, Grifflenberg) several times an hour.

Nearby bus stops allow for a connection to the public transportation system to reach the city centre or the attractive environment in no time.
